I can provide you with your residential design and drafting needs whether you need someone for all your projects or just someone to fill the gaps. I have over 20 years of experience designing and drafting for the residential remodeling and new home industries. I built and managed the Cad department for one of the major residential remodeling Design Build companies in Cincinnati and was their primary AutoCAD draftsman for over 17 years. Previous to that I have worked in the new home design and drafting industry making my accumulative years of experience to over 20 years. I have experience with most aspects of the residential remodeling design build process including: running leads (selling projects to homeowners), measuring and collecting data of the existing condition, producing As-build (existing) plans, designing and drawing design and feasibility plans, and producing construction permit plans. Offering drafting services outside the scope of residential design and drafting. In my 20 plus years of drafting experience, I have worked on numerous commercial architectural projects. For over 17 years, I was the primary AutoCAD draftsman for a major Design Build company in Cincinnati, working on several commercial projects such as a new synagogue, renovating spaces for schools, and remodeling store spaces and restaurants. I was also a primary draftsman for a glazing contractor producing shop drawings for the type of glass, doors, and aluminum frames that are commonly on multi-level buildings and storefronts. 3D renderings & illustrations

Providing simple 3D computer generated models, 2D illustrations, and other artwork using AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and other applications as well as hand drawing and coloring.

In residential remodeling, home owners often have a difficult time perceiving the project design when viewing it on 2D plans and elevations. Over my years in the remodeling industry, I have found a way of producing simple 3D computer models that can be produced in a short amount of time, but still have enough detail to visualize what is difficult to do on 2D plans.

Even 2D drawings, with a little extra detail and coloring, can help in the visualization process. One example of this is adding some real life detail and color such as vegetation, sky, and clouds to elevations for presentation and marketing.

One more example of something that can possibly be done, is taking a photo of the existing condition and adding the proposed design into it.
